The Deanship of IT and Distance Learning has launched the university's e-learning portal with its new version developed according to several criteria for developing such portals. The launch is the first stage for the e-learning platform that will be completed during the coming period via the link https://elearning.psau.edu.sa.
The Deanship's work team used open source software to build this portal to achieve spending efficiency through a comprehensive e-learning portal that includes visual materials and presents the latest news and events related to e-learning. Moreover, the portal improves user experience, accessibility, and new search engine standards and achieves information security requirements.
In addition, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Daej Dean of IT and Distance Learning confirmed that this launch is added to the series of achievements made by the Deanship and the University, which confirms the University's support for all academic initiatives to enhance the role of e-learning and distance learning and keep pace with the development taking place in this field and the University's continuous support for all initiatives.
